True Zamamee, but if it can only store 50 messages then it's gotta be pretty old surely? My Samsung D500 could store more than that on it's internal memory and that's gotta be pushing 4 years old now - didn't even have expandable memory. IIRC my U600 (which I had after the D500) could store in the range of 500 messages total and I'm yet to hit a limit on my Nokia N95 or N96, but I've not had either of them that long in fairness so that's probably due to me not having a ridiculous amount of messages on them (mind you, with 16GB memory the N96 ain't gonna run out of space for text messages anytime soon).
