Your main problem is that your opening ports on your firewall and then not doing anything with the NAT config. Basicially, you have two IP addresses. The first is your external, say 81.100.21.1 and the second is the address your computer has on your network, say 10.0.0.2
Your problem is that you have not set your NAT device up to foward the ports that Call of Duty uses to play. Therefore, someone attempts to access 81.100.21.1 and it only gets as far as your firewall because the NAT device does not have any rules set up for fowarding the relevant ports to your PC. You need to set it up to foward whichever ports CoD uses from the NAT to your PC. |
