When browsing some deal sites, saw a great deal about XFX GeForce 8800GT Video Card + Call of Duty 4 $100, decent to me, how do you think?

Considering the 512mb version of the 8800GT is selling for $175 (USD) and up, and CoD4 still sells for around $50, I'd say that's a smokin' deal. Even if it's the 256mb card ($150+), that's still a good deal.

....so what's the catch?


[]edit[] ahh, I just noticed your link. It's through TigerDirect, which is a good site. Pull the trigger while you can. Even if you don't get the rebate, $130 is still a good deal for that 256mb card and a new game. And XFX is one of the highly regarded brands for nvidia cards.

Wow, that sounds like a really good package deal. As long as it's not a user selling it to you and it is a company doing it.

If you have the hardware to support it on your PC, you should definitely buy it. XFX has some crazy video cards if I am correct.

Be careful, that's not the 8800GT you're gonna want. That's a 256MB model, not the 512MB model 8800GT that everybody loves. That's why it's so cheap; it's not going to perform nearly as well as a "regular" 512MB 8800GT.
