Re: Intel Core 2 QUADz0r? Changed my plans completely lol. Went on a lil' impulse buy. I bought a 2.4ghz AMD dual core system, with 2gb RAM, Nvidia 8800gts, and i forget the rest of the spec now. Uh... it has a sound card... it was a good one lol. Never mind, its cool, its cool. Oh yer, its came with an 80GB hard-drive, 10,000mhz speed or something or another. And a DVD RW. Then i added my 150GB hard-drive, and another DVD-RW, and thats my system set! Only cost me £220. Not bad, right? I hope you all agree with me, or i wasted my money lol. Edit: Thanks to everyone who offered advice! I'll be upgrading this system with a new motheryboard and new processor later on anyway, but for now its not too bad a system... right...? |
Re: Intel Core 2 QUADz0r? There is nothing wrong with keeping that system. You could upgrade to a 6000+ X2 provided your mobo supports it and keep your current PC for maybe another year or two. You really don't need to buy/build a new PC. Tekheads.co.uk If you sincerely want to build a new PC, how long are you willing to wait? If right now: Tekheads.co.uk Tekheads.co.uk Tekheads.co.uk I'm not sure about mobo however. |
