It is really expensive to upgrade a laptop like that. And chances are there won't even be a slot for it.

Because only a handful of them have MXM slots. Laptops good enough to have an MXM slot aren't going to have onboard Intel graphics as standard. Not to mention that Toshiba does not produce any MXM laptops.
