c://Documents and settings\gamer\local settings\temp\~e5.0001 is corrupt and unreadable.

How do i get game to work bearing in mind i have run chkdsk ulitily and deleted the file.

wow wow i cant follow, is there a story or so?

Did you try reinstalling the game?
Or Repairing the game?

Delete said file and copy said file over from cd/dvd to set designation. Failing that, back up any saved games and mods , then delete the game and reinstall......

i just reinstalled and the corrupt file is back dammit

yeah .. the other questions are:
what game is it , and on the cd, are there any scratches.

I would right click the cd rom drive while cd is in there, open or explore, and look for the file itself.
Then copy and paste it perhaps.

yep or try it first on another computer.
