 correct. Windows Installer may not have the drivers in its database (since it's old anything newer then when it was released wouldn't) and would need the floppy to load them.

| That's how I installed the RAID drivers in the first place (floppy), but it never occured to me that I needed to re-install them to run a repair. Thanks n0e! |

| no problem, you need to run the windows installer just as if you were reinstalling until you're prompted with the screen with the repair option.

| Windows was unable to repair the boot partition so I broke down and deleted the array and ran a fresh install. No RAID this time. Thanks for the advice anyway. |
