correct. Windows Installer may not have the drivers in its database (since it's old anything newer then when it was released wouldn't) and would need the floppy to load them.

That's how I installed the RAID drivers in the first place (floppy), but it never occured to me that I needed to re-install them to run a repair. Thanks n0e!

no problem, you need to run the windows installer just as if you were reinstalling until you're prompted with the screen with the repair option.

Windows was unable to repair the boot partition so I broke down and deleted the array and ran a fresh install. No RAID this time. Thanks for the advice anyway.
