New computer!!! Yay
 
ok so lol Dude im gettin a dell. so i dont have ht cash right now so i couldnt build my own so i went to dells website and applyed for credit, WOOT got a 1500 credit line.

so what does everyone think about the

Depends what graphics card you get. The 7300LE and X1300 options are crap for gaming. Having said that, they will play the games you listed but anything newer will cause them problems. You'll want the 7900GS option at least.

What sound cards do they offer? Integrated is ok, but a good sound card will give you better sound quality.

eh im not to hyped about the sound card itll do for now, i had other options but i was really pushin the credit limit lol. and yea eventually ima get a second gig :D

i have a soundblaster 7.1 LIVE! digital around here some were, its a 24 bit not sure if thats better or not

As a rule, seperate sound > onboard sound. There are exceptions if it's an extremely old seperate card or a brand new shiny onboard system, but an SB Live isn't really that old and the vast majority of onboard systems are rubbish.

Yeah, stick that thing in there for now. I used to have a 7.1 Live, there pretty good cards if you ignore the buggy drivers.

Yeah i think you should get some more ram, i think you void the warranty by opening it tho don't you?
