Someone please help

So... I got this problem:

Whenever Im trying to change the resultion in games, my screen freaks out, how can I explain, it goes gray. I have to reeboot my pc everytime it happens.

Anyway, I have upgraded my graphics drivers, but it still does it, so do anyone have an idea what to do?

My specs

AMD Turion 64 ML-32
Ati M X700 256mb
1gb ddr
15,4" 1280x800

Re: Someone please help

A reinstall of your video drivers would be a good idea.

Re: Someone please help

Even though you reinstalled, it does sound like a driver related issue.

Try uninstalling your drivers, run Driver Cleaner (it cleans out all of your old files that normally get left behind), and install the latest drivers and see if that helps.

Looking at your specs, this is a laptop?

A+ advise, if it isn't you ever consider it may be your firewall asking for permissions??(unlikly but you never know)
