cuz da otha 1 is a 32 rubbish 1 i bought from scan.. 2.99 lol so i count it as 512 cuz otherwise it wud be a different numba n no1 wud believe me

But seriously:
I have an sli system with dual core amd. You don't need 512 meg video cards. There really isn't anything that takes advantage of this at the moment. And by the time there is. The next big thing will be out.

This is just like when they came out with farcry. The game ( for once) was more advanced than that of the systems ( graphic cards) that were out.

Want to do cheap sli?
7600gs's by evga, approximately 80.00 a piece usd. They render everything fine. And i do mean everything.
From Doom3 to Battlefield 2 and oblivion.
Motherboard ?
Kn8sli by abit. Great board.
Chip ? amd 3800 dual core is a great entry level chip.
But you deffiinitly want at least 1 gig of memory running with this machine.
I would run less anymore.

He shotuld just put in that other 512 meg chip and all he would really need is a new video card...
I'd say he could get himself a 7900 GS if he has a decent power supply if not a 7600 GS or GT still a great option...
