Default Sound Cards

Hi Guys,

I´m planning to buy a new sound card but I´m not sure which one to buy.

I´m a professional musician and I´d like to use my PC as a recording station, but I´m also a hardcore gamer so I´d like something that I could use for both.

Do you know of any cool links to look for???

Thanks

I do some music work as well (Cakewalk, Sound Forge) and play games seriously.

I'd suggest the SBLive!. I have an SBLive MP3+. Consider the Platinum version if you can afford it. The Platinum comes with a unit that goes into one of your spare 5 1/4 drive bays and provides a patch panel for all the connections that are usually on the back, as well as a headphone colume control. Real convenient for music work when you're changing patch cords all the time.
