Issue with media players Hello. I have a problem that is bugging the crap out of me. Every time I watch a video that is not part of a disc, the screen turns green, bit by bit, at random intervals. Sometimes I can make it through the entire video, but usually not. The most common area for this problem is with online videos, namely mtv.com, bigandrich.comand other such sites. I also have this problem with videos I downloaded off Itunes. Another issue is that some videos just won't play. I click on the link, the media player comes up, and nothing happens. No loading or anything. Any help is appreciated. |
Re: Issue with media players What type of internet connection do you have? System specs would be good too. |
Re: Issue with media players Try reintalling your media player, the codecs, for the media player, your video driver, and your audio driver. |
Re: Issue with media players Apologies for the delay. I have tried reinstalling everything but the audio driver. Will do that. Internet connection is cable. Never had any issues with it before. |
Re: Issue with media players What (if any) media player is MTV.com using? Windows Media Player? Real Player? A Flash bassed player? |
Re: Issue with media players I suggest you try VLC media player, it uses its own codecs & runs nearly every movie format out there. Also try MPlayer similar to VLC, but harder to install on Windows. |
Re: Issue with media players VLC is a very good video media player. I too recomend it. |
