Uhh ok... In what price range? Can this computer be a custom built, or must it be a package (as in Dell or Alienware)? Is it because you want one, or because you are curious?
Dell XPS, I'd say. Or Cyber Power PCs. Alienware (now owned by Dell) is too expensive, and I don't think Falcon NW even starts below $1500 for their cheapest (I wanna say about $2,250)
um....idk best gaming computer..like 800-1500$$
..custom built...w/e...i guess within that price range...and im just curious
In that price range your only bet is to build your own.
Or you can do what I did. I got the Dell Dimension E510 and put a GeForce 6600GT in it. I got a 17" Ultra sharp flat panel and a all-in-one printer with it and it cost me around $1000. I can play just about any game out there right now (Doom3, Quake4, HL2, BF2, Prey). Make sure the computer has PCI-express so you can upgrade the GPU.
No, AGP is dead and all the AGP cards are more expensive than theire PCI Express Twin becuase there not being made as much so go for PCI express what ever you do and the beatuy of it is say you get a 6800 GT PCIE for now than you want a much better card you can get it and AGP if you get a 6800 GT your pretty much stuck unless you finally decide to get a PCI express mobo and card witch is more $$$.
