Default TV Tuner for Computer

I am tempted to get a TV tuner for my older computer, but I am not sure if it is compatible. I was looking this tuner for my computer.

Specs:
Intel Pentium 3 @ 866mhz
2x 40gig HDD
256mb PC100 SDRAM
132 (?) watt PSU
Windows ME
Free PCI slot (no AGP or PCI-E)
DVD+-RW, CD-RW

Will my computer have much difficulty in using the tuner? Should I upgrade and just buy an All-In-Wonder? Is there a better/less expensive card I could buy?

Thanks for your help.

In short, yes it will work, but your computer is in dire need of an upgrade.

According to the specs for that TV Tuner, yes, it will work on your system.

Personally, however, I would make a major overhaul of your PC a priority over installing a fancy TV card.

Thanks for your help.

I plan on waiting for Vista before upgrading my computer. Why upgrade now on a computer that may be obsolete in a year? After it's been out awhile, many of the bugs will probably be fixed and I'll know exactly what I'll need to run it well.

The tuner would just be to replace my TV, which is literally falling apart.

For Vista you're going to want a whole new PC, the core components of that are just too old.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 | DFI LANPARTY JR P45-T2RS | 4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800
BFG GeForce 8800GTS 320MB | Dell 2407WFP-HC & Samsung 40" 1080p LCD
Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3, Denon AVR-2309 & Tangent Clarity 4 (Stereo)
300Gb WD VelociRaptor & ~3TB Storage | Lian Li V531B | Silverstone ST60F 600w
