devastating nvidia 6600 gt problem
 

hey

a friend of me bought for his pc a new graphic card.
Its a nvidia geforce 6600 gt, when he puts it in it doesnt work, his windows starts and he has a black screen.
Then he started windows in safe mode and it worked, he put the cd to install it in and he agrees with everything and in the middle of the installation his screen turns again in black.

He wants that it works but it fails all the time, what must he do so that it works?

Be sure the drivers for the old graphics card are uninstalled, and if he has an onboard graphics card he is replacing then be sure to disable it.

Incidentally can you test the card in a different pc?

yeah the fool was very foolish!
He put his cable from his viewscreen in the wrong lock!!!
It worked then because he braught his pc to the store.
