Okay, I have two hard drives, one XP, one 98. I want to know how to be able to select which OS to use at start-up. Is there some BIOS settting, or what?

Press F8 at startup during or just after the bios screen appears.

you could edit your boot.ini, check whats already there, and model a second entry after the first, just changing the drive number, then change the timeout value
