Can somebody naswer these questions i'm still having worrys
1.Is it absolutely neccasery that a get a new case
2.If so can i get the Atric-cooling T1
3.Because it's a new mobo and i have a disk for windows XP to be installed but it got a dell on it so im thinking because i will have a new mobo wouldn't my system not be a dell there for i can't install windows with the CD i get with my dell comp
4.Would i have loads of errors with my comp recongnising the new mobo
5.Would the PSU fit with the new case (Artic-Cooling T1) and motherboard
6.Why did you guys suggest the Gigabyte GA-8IPE 1000g for my dimension 2400 if i had to get a new new case
Yeah the forum really screwed that one up. My bad for going into advanced and trying it that way, woulda deleted them but it was taking 5+ minutes to load a single page so I gave up and obviously, now I can't delete them because I can't edit them anymore.
1. Yes.
2. Good.
3. Your Dell disk most likely won't work, but you don't actually need to reinstall Windows just because you changed the mobo.
4. No.
5. The T1 comes with a PSU ya numpty, and that will fit. Ignore the Dell piece of junk.
6. Because the one you chose initially is rather crap and overpriced (AND open box?!), and the GA-8IPE is about as good as you'll find since boards for your CPU are all out of production. As they are all out of production, there isn't much choice as all the best ones like mine (mwahahahaha) all sold out like...centuries ago.
