Re: New case

Wtf...why are you even bothering to buy that? It's crap, barely an improvement over a FX5200 and certainly not worth the £40 or whatever you're going to be paying for it. Keep your money and buy something better in the future.

There is logic behind the gradual upgrade approach (as opposed to buying a new system), but that doesn't mean repeatedly buying shit hardware is the way forward.

Why spend £60-65 on that outdated thing when you can get an ATI Radeon X1300 AGP (A much better performer) for around the same price?

Re: New case

Re: New case

It won't fit, and yes the X1300 is supported by BF2, it just wasn't out at the time BF2 was released so they obviously couldn't put it on the box, could they? :p

Re: New case

The Silentium T1 is a bit of a fiddly case to work with, but it's still perfectly useable - it'll also help keep your temps down, which is a bonus.

Everything else looks good to me.

Re: New case

what do you mean when you say It won't fit.
what won't fit

Re: New case

He means that the motherboard you're getting won't fit in the Dell case, so you may as well go ahead and buy a new case now. It'll save you having to pay two lots of shipping charges.
