Constant erros messages
Every half an hour (approx.), i get and "illegal operation" error come up. When i click on details, the following message is displayed: "ODSDQ & CDMHR caused an invalid page fault in module ODSDQ & CDMHR.EXE at 0177:00402527." Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?????? |
Those sound like a couple of background apps - they're not Windows files. Do a file search for CDMHR.EXE, when you find it right click on it and select properties. This MAY tell you what the file is or what it belongs to. Since it starts with CD is may be part of a CDR app like Direct CD or something. Once you figure out what it belongs to, you can uninstall it and see if it behaves. Can also be a bad driver interfering with that app, update all your drivers. Hope this helps... ------------------ The Flying Penguin :) http://voodooextreme.com/flypenguin |
You might also want to run a scan on your harddrive for a virus or trojan horse. A good program for trojan horse detection is The Cleaner. You can download it at: http://members.xoom.com/Busby420/Temp/cleaner3.exe ------------------ Busby http://members.xoom.com/Busby420 People who can a)play games with 2 arms and b) can write on their own hands should be killed. |
