1. the vpu recovery thing only came up once

2. ill set my htt back to auto.

3.ive tried the driver thing already.

4.my card cant be dying, it was perfect until i got these new parts.


there must be something wrong i think the processors high FSB (1ghz) is freaking out my video card causing it to lock up. but thats my opinion.
I really need help guys, like, alot.

The drivers decided that the card "crashed" once, then. I've never found any rhyme or reason in those dialogues, anyway.

That's a good thing, though at least you only changed the LDT, and not the reference clock itself.

And you tried again without the new parts and/or drivers, and it worked. Right?

That's not it.

Checklist. You:
_ Ran memtest86+ though at least four full loops?
_ Ran the prime95 torture tests for 15-20 minutes each (at least)?
_ Tried each piece of hardware on another box, known to be good (or at least thought of it, if you haven't the access)?
_ Removed all the new hardware verified that your video card still works in it's old system?
_ Tested the rails on your PSU?
_ Checked all connections (like, oh, I don't know... you video card's power cable)?
_ Removed any and all trace of the GeForce2 MX what was in your system?

ive tried all of those. Memtest86 doesnt work for me, haent tried prime 95 yet. I have no clue whats wrong, im gonna like blow up. it has to have to do something with the southbridge controller but idk what

sigh.........come on guys please im going to like die
