Anyway, that looks like an awesome setup, but I shudder to think how much it'll cost. And the cooling solution would have to be...titanic. I wonder how long it'll be before ATI do something similar with Crossfire. |
Re: Look at this badboy. That would definately enhance your gaming experience! |
Re: Look at this badboy. Where can I get mine....Duane you buying?? |
Re: Look at this badboy. Isn't it your turn? |
Re: Look at this badboy. Holy Shit. I thought 2 was amazing but 3!? God u could have up to 1.5GB of Vram! |
Re: Look at this badboy. Just think, in 10 years, that won't run Windows Break the Bank Edition. Tis ah shame. In all honesty, I won't even CONSIDER buying something like that for 2-3 years if ever. It's stupid |
Re: Look at this badboy. I can't see 4 gpu's improving gameplay much, if at all. Even 2 gpu's don't always perform better than 1 in certain games. But if you have a hankering to render a cgi movie in real time, this might be your ticket. That and bragging rights. Lol Aeg, windows break the bank ed. |
Re: Look at this badboy. Wow.... Thats a freakin awesome setup! But i think something like that would be a huge waste of money. |
Re: Look at this badboy. WTF? Stupid Nvidia backroom nerds doing?! Insanity. Pure insanity. You know that if you have dual-cores and dual SLI cards [like 7800 GTXs] and like 2 gig memory, and all that high end stuff, the games can't touch you. You have like, already PLENTY to spare. You can play Q4 while ripping DVD if you have dual cores like the 4800+s. Why have 4 GFX cards? Why not introduce a 1 or 2 gig card instead? It'd be a big SOB, and take up plenty slots, but IMHO that'd be better than 4. Do they address heat issues? You have any idea how hot that'd be? You'd need a case with 7-8 fans. Thats' when you'd need a Coolermaster Stacker [like a CM 380, what I'm getting for my b-day.]. Pure insanity. |
Re: Look at this badboy. Nice, I want that. To bad modern games don't need those. |
Re: Look at this badboy. Hmm I'll think I'll order one of those PC's :p |
Re: Look at this badboy. I wouldn't buy one (I doubt I could affort it :p) but it sure as hell is sexy, I wouldn't mine winning or something. ;) |
Re: Look at this badboy. 4 videocards..... OMG LOOK AT ME I CAN PLAY Q4 WITH 900FPS!!11 EVEN THOUGH IT DOESN'T LOOK ANY DIFFERENT THAN 60FPS ITS STILL KICK ASS!!!1 OMG I HAVE A $900 POWERBILL AND MY ROOM TEMP NEVER DROPS BELOW 90 DEGREES! FUCK YEAH! |
Re: Look at this badboy. I don't even see the point in having 2 graphic cards.. now 4? This is getting ridiculous :vikki: Anyways, theres no point getting this before the FX60 comes out, there would be a cpu bottleneck :lookaround: |
Re: Look at this badboy. Looks very nice. I guess they want to work it like razors...more blades is better? |
Re: Look at this badboy. Another grand-canyon leap in the progression of PC technology--very impressive indeed. :smokin: |
Re: Look at this badboy. hoooooly crap, thats realy something I want |
Re: Look at this badboy. I see no point as many games AT THE CURRENT TIME don't support dual cards anyway. In a lot of cases these games run better with one. Four would only be useful in the next couple of years, even then they will have 512/1 gig cards that do the job of that. |
Re: Look at this badboy. I...Want...It!!! That is NICE....But I cannot imagine how much it will cost. But 4 GPU's!!!! I thought my 1 card was good... Amazing. |
Re: Look at this badboy. IMO it's just a cheap hack to line up 4 identical GPUs and call it something new. A new card altogether, that'd be cool. Gimme a 1 or 2 gig card, now that's cool. |
Re: Look at this badboy. One.,.. its dell. That discredits it for me right there. You want a good gaming machine the only way to do it is Pieve it together yourself two.... I agree, 4 graphics cards is pushing the envelope. I too would like to simply see a better card come out...one with more memory. Three....I used to work for dell, as a technician, they dont think about things like COOLING, very much. Their idea of a cooling system is one fan stuck in the case with a hood that extends over the heat sink, which has no fan mounted to it.... and thus that is supposed to cool the system? Give me a break. The case is nice though...but I think you run the risk of 300+ x 4 burning up from not enough air flow....and even in a normal case....I would be concerned about airflow with Four graphics cards. |

Re: Look at this badboy. i read about that in a mag the other month they said it pointless to have that many gpu's for gaming as it wouldnt really boost performance seeing as games are only just surporting dual gpu's, but its good if you want 8 monitors. |
Re: Look at this badboy. Damn, and I thought my Sapphire X800 was awesome :p this is a bit too over the top for me. Jeez, 4 graphic cards. I don't think any games need more than 1 or 2. 4... |

Re: Look at this badboy. Yeah i know what you mean.. I am not dissatisfied with my PC at all...It's awesome and I am glad i am privliged enough to have such a great PC. I was just commenting on how awesome those 4 GPU's are...I would never buy it myself, i beleive it is overkill. But you have to admit, it is nice. :naughty: |
Re: Look at this badboy. overkill, totally. 2 gigs of video ram.... well, maybe my ex-gf might be able to use with 4 nVidia Quadro's SLIed, since she is a hard care, and i mean hardcore graphic designer. then again, next year 2 gigs of video ram might be what everyone needs.... who knows. i doubt it still, a pretty neat find, although this is not the first quad SLI mobo i;ve seen |
Re: Look at this badboy. that would be pretty sweet to have in your computer but since its made by dell i wouldn't doubt it if it explodes into flames or the devil comes from the ground and banishes you to hell for buying it.. |
Re: Look at this badboy. v. nice |
Re: Look at this badboy. According to "Legit Reviews" This system is to available from dell with a price tag of $7,000 to $8,000. DAMN! |
Re: Look at this badboy. WOW thats all i have to say. the dell system is oc to 4.25 and 2gb of video ram wtf thats crazy. jeez that thing can run any game at full settings with no prob. and i though my 6800 128mb was great. 96 pixel pipelines wow i remember when TH was raving about 24 pixelpipelines. just imagine what real crazy gamers will do once they get their hand on that. overclocking all 4 GPUs to their max. anyone else wondering how it would play fh2? |

Re: Look at this badboy. lol it's just stupid. That's for people that don't like to buy new stuff every year or those that just want to show how much points more than others they had in benchmarks and all that stuff. I can run BF2 SP with my X800gto all on high between 40-60fps and it never lags. Ok I can't play COD2 on highest but I'm shure a x1800xt will play UT07 on highest. So why you need 4GPU's when it doesn't make any difference to the game and it's performance? Only that you're fps counter shows a high number? People that buy sli and quad for this kind of stuff have too much money or are just crazy. |
Re: Look at this badboy. I think this is for the folks who just have to have a huge e-penis, bar none. |

Re: Look at this badboy. Thats an inasne computer... Reasons why i wouldnt buy it. 1. Its a Dell 2. Its $8000 |
Re: Look at this badboy. Interesting, but the price tag makes the whole thing moot. 7000 is just totally, totally insane. |
Re: Look at this badboy. Good god, four graphic cards and 2 gb of on board video memory. It might be a while before a videogame would need a requirement like that. |
Re: Look at this badboy. must have!! |

Re: Look at this badboy. Yeah I mean so what if you get 1 tiny lag with 1 video card, I mean with two video cards your not gonna get a lag... Why spend fucking 8,000 dollars on a computer with fucking 4 7800's. Imagine the kinda of 1337 machine you can get if you just get seperate parts and built your own custom computer. You dont even need to spend anything close to 8,000 for a nice ass computer. Dells just trying to fit in and make some cash(and I mean alot of cash) because gaming is the new sex =) |
