New Video Card for me!

Its not here yet, but my Dad baught me a eVGA GeForce 6600! not the Gt verson, but still, a great upgrade from what I had, the Radeon x300. should be here in a couple days! yay for me!

You should see a good improvement of that wimpy X300, i'm soon gonna replace my X300, i haven't decided what i want though.

You would have been better off saving your money for a 6800. The 6600 will provide a good boost, but not a terrific one.

Yeah True...But he only had AGP i think.

But he still could've gotten a 6800GS which would of whooped the 6600.

Forgive me. I should add to that, that the 6600 is a terrific card, I should now, I own one. It's plenty powerful, and is a terrific value. It will serve you well for two or so years.

Oh yea. thats the same card that I bought for my pc. Its a great card and installation is very easy. Congrats and have some fun with it. i know I will.

I'm still hoping to replace my GMA950 graphics. It performs about like an FX5500, so I'm pretty eager to toss it. I'm looking at an X1600XT, a few steps above you're 6600, but then again it's $70 more.

Great card though. Enjoy!
