Hey guys. Just got a new computer, I wanna know what you guys think about it(comments), rate it outta 10, and what kinda preformance(how high can i put graphics while keeping it smooth) can I get outta BF2, Doom3, Cod2, quake 4. Ok so here's the specs. 7800GTX nVidia, 2gb Ram, 250G Harddrive, 8MS LCD 19inc monitor, 3.2 HT P4 CPU, 600W PSU. It's basically the Dell XPS 600 but with some sweet upgrades.
Thanks,
BArtender

sounds pretty nice i'd give it about a 7 (only because there are comps that can have 4gb ram, larger hard drives, $2000 graphics cards, and 3.8 ghz CPU's) but it's really nice for gaming. i'd say you could probably set those games on high graphics. i don't know much about nVidia graphics cards are like, but that one is fairly new (i think... like i said, i don't know much about nVidia). nice specs though, how much did you pay for it?
Pretty dang nice. 2 GIGs of RAM will rock your world.
I run BF2 on medium only for performance on large servers, and my PC isn't much different than yours. I have no slow downs on 64 Man servers with everyone dieing and flying.
CoD 2 will work great too. I'd say meduim though for performance.

Well, I would have to Agree and Disagree with Homer Gonerson. Yes you can get systems with 4 gigs of RAM, but windows XP can only see 2 gigs, so, for all intensive purposes, great system! We can join the Dell owners club! lol! jk vbmenu_register("postmenu_2474265", true);

Don't really matter in a dell, you can't overclock them or change timings/voltages on them at all anyways.
i'll give it a 8/10. Nice system! Would rate higher if the P4 was higher clocked or if there was a AMD64 in its place (buts its a dell so that will never happen ).
