Re: A Question About A Pc(2) That is pretty good, just get the +3000 and go for a 6800gt with the money you save. You can overclock it to a +3500 easy on that mother board and that ram. Good computer though. |

Although from what I've read I understand that 1 stick of CAS 3 DDR would never be as good as CAS 2 DDR running in Dual Channel. Personally I wouldn't buy a processor OEM, just because I like to have the warranty that comes with the retail version. (even if I'll never use it) EDIT: I just noticed that that processor is socket 754. I think he should stick with 939 because that will allow him to upgrade to a better processor later on.(and he will get Dual Channel DDR support) Even though 939 is going to be phased out for M2, I still think it is currently the best choice |

Re: A Question About A Pc(2) I go with Western Digital for my H.D.D.'s... and LITE-ON for my optical drives. Also; I would spring for the SLI version of the motherboard you found, just in case you want to do that whole SLI thing later on down the road. |
