And yes i know what CMOS is, but the nerdyest of nerds call the BIOS, CMOS, incorrectly i know but they just do. | the reason we call it the same thing sometimes is because cmos options can be found right next to the bios. so we get lazy. AMD dont have to have high clocks. the 2500+ doesnt imply its supposed to be clocked at 2.5gHrtz. its a comparason to intels never ending slow gigahertz. 2500+ is slightly faster than a intel 2.5gHertz. i dont think they do it for "saftey" but i could be mistaking. get rid of that MSI board, my old one killed my PSU and 120 gig ide samsung, im SATA now, but lots of MSI boards turn out faulty after a few months. ASUS are really reliable, same with gigabyte and CHAINTECH. |
