Total so far is $1205.99

You can stop here if you want, but I can still throw in a nice moniter and keyboard/mouse set.

Moniter-$249.99

Keyboard-5.25

Speakers-use ones from you're old comp.

Assuming you wanted the whole set, it would cost you about $1498.24

Operating system will cost about $88
Ok I am going to buy all of that (besides case)
I'm gonna buy this case http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...395&CatId=1848
Now I need to know how to build it? I wont be getting the stuff for a couple weeks but I want to know in advance so I can build it faster

Foxconn is the world's largest OEM for not just connectors, but motherboards also.

AFAIK, all Intel-branded motherboards are, in fact, built by Foxconn.

I would definately get the XFX version of the 7800GTX, not the eVGA version. XFX's version is only $5 more, but the clock speeds are 490/1300 instead of 450/1200.

As far as building the PC, go to tomshardware.com. They have an excellent guide there.

and you get a free copy of BF2( )

For about $50 more you can get a +3700 processor, which is a good %15-%20 faster than the +3500 since it has 1mb L2 cashe. The only difference between it and the FX series is the clock rates(I think)
