Default Macromedia flash player, please help

I was wondering if anyone here at the forums can give me some help or advice about macromedia flash player. I am hoping to buy one but there are so many different kinds that i dont know what one to get. I want a version that is simple and easy. I am looking for a version that allows me to animate my drawings and cartoons and allow them to come to life and make little movies and things using my drawings but I dont know which one to choose please help. Or even if you could recommend another package that you have heard of or use and find better than macromedia.

Yes, MX 2004 Pro has lots of features, and is great for new users. Definately worth the price.
