At that price, I'd just as soon buy an X2. But if you must, make sure that you get one of the unheralded 90nm cores. Easiest way to tell them apart, AFAICT, is to check the voltage: 130nm cores require 1.5V, while the 90nm cores needs only 1.375V.
I would say either:
wait and get one once the FX57 is out in the market
don't get one, get one of the dual cores
save your money and get one once the Fx57 is out.
