viper 550 drivers
 

I have installed the latest drivers from nvidia and have now lost my D3D mode....i would like to reinstall the detonator drivers i preveiously had on here....how do i reinstall them?????

Not sure if this helps any but.....

I recently moved up to the 3.53 detonator drivers released by nVidia for my Diamond V550 board. Everything seemed ok until I ran Wild Metal Country using my TNT in D3D mode. A crazy flashing effect occured during gameplay (but not during the menu options mode, except that little side view of the different vehicles). I went back to the 2.08 detonator drivers and everything is hunky dorey again.

To reinstall the 2.08 drivers, all I did was unzip the archive, run the setup program to create a directory to contain the drivers, then went into display properties, and changed the adaptor to search for the new drivers in that specific directory (if you don't know how to do this, I can explain further).

I'm glad to say everything is back to normal again, and I'm going to inform nVidia ASAP.
