(When installing DirectX it says it will
have to over-write the 3dfx drivers. If I
say "Yes" then it overwrites them and my
OpenGL/Glide drivers stop working).

How do I keep the 3dfx reference drivers
intact and get the card to use Direct3D
version 6, 6.1 or 7?

Thanks.

FlyingPenguin should make some friends
Default

Voodoo1 is obsolete. 3Dfx does not support V1 under anything over Dx5.

If you play any kind of 3D game, you should upgrade. Even a used Voodoo2 will only set you back $40 or $50.
