Join Date: December 5th, 1999 Rep Power: 0 | 1) I have the same problem, and power strip is the only thirdparty program I have heard of that you can use. However, you can just raise the gamma (and not the intensity) and use vid_restart. this works for me.
2) You can change the refresh rate of any ps2 mouse in windows nt. Just add/change the following registry string
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\i8042 prt\parameters\technical\PS2ReportRate "200"
(use regedit from the run prompt to get there)
The i8042prt might be different depending on what mouse drivers you are using (im not sure). To find out what yours is, go to Start->Run and type winmsd. then click on the resources tab, and look for it on IRQ 12.
so add or change that key, and set it to 200, then reboot. If this doesnt work for you, I have a zip file somewhere with an old version of ps2rate for nt4 that works, just let me know. b |
