Connection

My friend has a problem.
He is using 56 k modem and when he tries to connect to the Internet he receives a message:

Unable to establish a connection.

Can someone help me?

He can't get eough data to his computer, his intrnet is too slow to get to the internet

Check his modem is plugged in, he has the right software, his phone works etc.

You're going to have to be alot more specific, as you've left an ocean of possibilities with the info you've provided.
