Motherboard help
 
um this is a noobish question but how do you figure out what motherboard you running?is there a way to find it with out opening up the computer and looking inside.. thanks

Some manufacturers will put info about there motherboard in the BIOS, You may be able to figure out what mobo you have if you read different info in the few screens that do quickly display for only seconds while your computer boots up. but some manufacturers don't.
there isn't any discrete info provided about what mobo you have in any window utilities, just info about the different technologies on your mobo.
But you can daownload this free utility I recently found and really like

yeah, just download something like CPU-Z and it will tell you what your running.

open device manager or if ur computer the a custom job it might have a CD saying what kind of bard it is.
