Angry resolution error

i try to set the resolution to over 1024 by 768 and there is an error saying: out of range 74.9mhz v75mhz ... what do i have to do?! i go a athlon643200+
and a geforce6600gt!!

your moniter doesnt suppoort that resolution on that frequency, change it.

it might just generally not support over 1024x768, do you have a TFT or LCD?

also, when i play nfsu2, the image is like a mosaic... loads of squares on 1024 by 768 resolution... it looks crap but my machine is high spec

Just put the refresh rate to 60hz when using a resolution over 1024x768. You monitor is probably suck.
