Help with Logitech mx1000 laser mouse

Hi,
Just got this mouse today but it has some messed up configuration for the middle mouse button (scroll wheel button).
When I play certain games, I usually use the middle mouse button for reloading but with this new mouse it doesn't appear to work.
It does something like zoom...
Anyone have this mouse and know how to use the scroll wheel as the middle mouse button?

p.s. I've also checked with diff. configurations within it's software...
TIA

thomas

so, you installed the drivers, and stuff? well then you should be able to go into the games options>controls and change reload to mouse scroll ball.

you can also use this program to assign your keys for ingame-play. i have it for the MX500, but it works with the MX1000 also

You probably have to redo all your configurations in the games itself.

Thanks for the replies,

Just figured it out. It was under 'other' in the software then I selected 'middle mouse button'.

Works like a treat :D
