Trojan help!
 

I NEED HELP!!! i tried everything (deleting registy-nortan Which suprisingly wont delete only quarentine and i even do a scan again and its there again-Microsoft anti-spyware didnt do anything) im outa ideas
Someone help me :Puppyeyes: oh yea the trojan is called "Trojan.StartPage"

Follow these instructions from Symantec and good luck. Oh, and stop using Internet Explorer, try Opera.

The following instructions pertain to all current and recent Symantec antivirus products, including the Symantec AntiVirus and Norton AntiVirus product lines.

Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
Delete the added lines from the Windows Hosts file.
Update the virus definitions.
Restart the computer in Safe mode or VGA mode.
Run a full system scan, and delete all the files that are detected as Trojan.StartPage.
Delete the values that were added to the registry.
Reset the Internet Explorer home page.
Reset the Internet Explorer Search page.

Try all different free antivirus programs. Download them all, and run them one after the other. This is a last measure, and only if the above doesn't work.

WASNT ME! my bro was on the computer and i came back he said he was done and i got this damn warning and now im here and fallowing those dirctions i did it all b4 NUTHING helped ill use that opera thingy i guess

I also tried AVG and nortan and microsoft nonne worked im just gona use another web browser

Had a simmilar problem once, if I'm right, "cwshredder" helped me.
