Default MS Word not Working

OK, My MS Word isn't working, and I wanted to do some coursework in it. When I load it up, it well, simply dosen't load. A MS Word Loading box comes up, and then it just stays like that [I'll enclose a screenie], thing's I have tried:

Re-Install MS Office
Repair MS Office
Uninstall MS Office, then Re-Install it
Install MS Works 2001

None of it works, any advice greatly appreciated, it only stopped working recently, and the last hardware I installed was a Wireless G Card for wireless networking.

TIA.

That's weird. Say, does Office 2000 need to be activated like Office XP does? And did you scrub out the product ID yourself, or is it like that on the screen?

Why don't you just give up on word, because it obviously never works. Got to www.openoffice.org to download a new word editor it comes withloads of other stuff, and its free.

I scrubbed it out.

And thanks to the guy above, I'll use that.
