Default Upgrade Help

i upgraded my processor speed from 1.4 to 2.8 and now a few days l8er my computer makes a snail look fast can anyone suggest why its goin so slow

I don't think it is possible to overclock 1.4Ghz.
It may be the motherboard isn't designed to manage that sort of speed, or even the fan not being fast enough. I dunno......

Is your CPU identified correctly in BIOS? Have you upgraded your BIOS and motherboard drivers? Are you sure your CPU is compatible with your motherboard?
