ATI's Temporal FSAA (full scene anti-aliasing) thought you guys might be interested: http://graphics.tomshardware.com/gra...i-x800-08.html I wonder if it's included in the 9600XT (my card) it is in the new drivers. (4.7) |
Re: ATI's Temporal FSAA (full scene anti-aliasing) "With the introduction of the X800 series, ATi now finally makes use of this feature." Nope, sorry. :D |
Re: ATI's Temporal FSAA (full scene anti-aliasing) but in the control panel it says it's enabled, just found out (or at least i can enable it) :) |
Re: ATI's Temporal FSAA (full scene anti-aliasing) Interesting. I only skimmed over the article, what difference does this make over standard AA? Can you notice it in-game? Although, I do know some newer driver features can be enabled, but don't really take effect. My card only supports 4xAA but I can take the slider up to 6. |
Re: ATI's Temporal FSAA (full scene anti-aliasing) I have not tried it yet. I'll call ATI to see if it is enabled in the 9600XT |
Re: ATI's Temporal FSAA (full scene anti-aliasing) yes, there is a difference, i benchmarked and there was an impact on performance. |
Re: ATI's Temporal FSAA (full scene anti-aliasing) I tried it- benchmarked higher, yea, but I couldnt really tell any difference in CoD |
Re: ATI's Temporal FSAA (full scene anti-aliasing) benchmarked higher?! you mean lower! |
