A 64 bit processor has the ability to process instruction/coding that is 64bits in length. where as a 32 bit processor (Athlon XP, P4) can only process 32bit instruction lengths. the biggest benefit to a 64bit proc is its ability to also read 64bit long addresses, which means it can address much greater amounts of data in RAM, currently 32 procs are only configured to address at nost 16GB of data, but still your standard desktop only has room for 4GB and windows only has support for 4BG also, except server versions on Windows. 64 bit procs can potentially address up to... Ever heard of Picobytes. no well its up there, think of the entire WWW.

P4 1.7 400 Hz bus, 512 PC 3200 (400 Hz), Radion 9600, SB Xgamer, cable, SONY 21" monitor, Koss headphones, 550 Watt antec, Pioneer
DVR175D, Dual 7200 IBM HD, Raid O, Seagate Tape backup. T-2 Cable.Linksys wan and lan, aux monitor 65" Toshiba HD, Kenwood 6.1 600 watt w/towers and seat belts. Sandra says I need 800 hz bus, yea.

Anywhere but AA I couldn't need more speed. AA = 2 to 37 fps. I like 120 fps. I will try a download or quit. I finished E & E at 5 fps. just out of stupid stubborn syndome and sniper with no H key.

I am going to get either a AMD 64 or a Prescott 2 Gig, but can't decide, considering new ati cards...? The hardware is ahead of
games right now. I am waiting like a kid at X mas to buy something.
