That sounds good, but this would get more responses in the computer forumour. As for your specs, they should be more than enough to be able to enjoy today's games..

This signature unintentionally left unfunny.

Here's a good board board at a good price. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=241098
Sounds like a pretty nice system for the price. I agree don't buy generic memory, I recommend XMS. It comes with a lifetime gaurantee! And the prices on it are excellent.

I'll quit hogging all of the thread, when you quit hogging all of the UGLY!!!

thanks all, im going with a serial ata boosts data transfer rates to up to 150 MB/sec. More flexible power tolerances allow for smaller and more efficient cables. give me a little more better air flow also in the case than the ide cables. i think i might go with the Abit KV7 board looks like its great board for over clocking with the fan on the north bridge and the over heating alarm will be nice thinking mayb 2x512Mb giel ram PC2700 and the 9600xt the 2500+ barton of course (cheapest) with 333mhz fsb and 512k cache i think i might just build it like that dont know i still got some time yet till its due cya guys in cod time thanks for the help

The asus A7N8X Deluxe 2.0 is a great board for overclocking and it supports Athlon cpu's up to DDR400.
