They are illeagal programs that usually either make a game playable without a cd, or they're illeagal version of software. They aren't allowed here, or the discussion of them. If I were you I wouldn't ask about them here, you have a good chance of being banned

Warez is a PIRATED piece of software, commonly found on file sharing networks, such as K a Z a A. They may also be found on BAD sites, which are filled with porn, millions of popups, viruses and endless voting systems. Don't even TRY to pirate.

Warez Illegal sites where you can download software for free. (not all sites are filled with porn, millions of popups, viruses and endless voting systems.)
no cd patch A program that enables you to play a game with out having the cd in your cd drive. Used when you download the game.
