Re: In the long run, who will win? Well here it goes *deep breath in* Dark Eldar- No chance, unless by some strange act a massive event happens in the galaxy wipping out all othe rlife in the universe and leaving cormugath(spelling?) unharmed. Which is not going to happen, they will just end up being eaten by slaanesh in the end. Ork's- Ork unity is not a probable idea, but unity is not required in order to ahnihilate every other race in the galaxy, so there's a chance they could dominate. But orks would never be able to defeat the chaos gods or C'tan unless Gork and Morg (which im not sure even exists, if somone could give me a link to some fluff about them it would be appreciated) intervened. Eldar- They will not ahnihilate all life in the galaxy, but then again complete dominiation is not their goal. they will keep hidden and try to rebuild their shattered dominion, to them existance is winning. Tau- Honestly, they may have advanced in technoloy at a rapid rate, but they have such a small dominion that it is impossible for them to invade any of the larger powers with any real gains. Imperium would crush them, Chaos will corrupt them, and if a Tyranid fleet of any real measure attacks there hoemworld, the tau ethereal cast will be all but wiped out and with them dies the greater good idel that is glueing the tiny empire together. Imperium- The Imperium has the potential to destroy the weaker powers. However even if the god emperor was revived and heled the emperium to victory against the foe's of man, it is unlikely that they would be able to destroy the entire xenos population, unless they mastered the technology of the eldar, which is just a fevered dream for mankind at this point. Tyranids- They are a strong force with the numbers and organisation, the only way i think that they could possibly loose was if the hivemind was located and slain, this would most likely only be possible to do for a god. Necrons- They have the potential, but it would most likely never occur, seeing as the 4 star gods are in constant conflict and the necron forces are for the most part dormant and concentrated in certain areas. Besides if the C'tan actually managed to ahnihilate all life in the galaxy there would be nothing left to quench his thirst with, so i would assume that they would let the other races live simply to feed off of. Chaos- Chaos for the win, i don't even really like chaos but they stand the greatest chance of victory, chaos can take anyform, from human, to kroot. The influence of chaos spreads as the warp increases and the galaxy becomes more and more unstable. Not necessarily the forces of chaos will win but their influence will span the galaxy over. Chaos could not be defeated either, for if they were the consiquences would be dire for the rest of the universe. If a chaos god was actually slain just imagine the reprecussions on the universe, the birthcry of slaanesh wiped out the eldar. I bet the death cry of Khorne would shatter almost all life in the galaxy. With that in mind the onyl way to defeat chaos would to seal the warp shut forever. No race is advanced enough or organised enough to fuffil this task, and even should they suceed another dilema would await them. Long range warping like used by the eldar is powered by energys from the warp. It's not the only force that relies on the warp for it's power, without it full scale invasion would take forever. *gasps for air* |
Re: In the long run, who will win? Imperium. Just because of sheer numbers. |
Re: In the long run, who will win? ok fellas, im going with eldar or chaos, simply because of rhana dhandra (i think its spelt like that) hence the FINAL battle between ELDAR and CHAOS |
Re: In the long run, who will win? no way eldar dont have the numbers like super star ash said if they had an all out war they'd get anhilliated(not sure on spelling) but chaos would have a better chance |
Re: In the long run, who will win? Well seeing as the necrons went to sleep cause they had destroyed all life before, THEY CAN DO IT AGAIN!!! 92% of teens have moved to (c)rap if you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your thread |
Re: In the long run, who will win? I would say chaos, they will kill the imperium, and any thing in thier path! |
Re: In the long run, who will win? I will vote the imperium. but I image orks and chaos will be an ever-persistant problem. and mayby once the've almost wiped the nids out they'll come back again. orks and the imperium are going to rape the hell out of the tau. The eldar will reteat into places unknown. |
Re: In the long run, who will win? In reality, i think the tyranids would destroy all other races. They are almost endless in number and the are the perfect killers. I believe they would have a difficult time killing all the humans and orks, but it would happen in the end. Myself, I am a SM player, and would hope the imperium would win, being human myself, but i doubt it would happen. |
Re: In the long run, who will win? Im not sure about the order that the races would die in are bitThe way I see it is chaos will win. or at least last the longest. The chaos marines could easily be killed by concentrated imperial efforts and the deamons would die off when they no longer have the emotions of any living creature to feed from. The Dark eldar...well..they would get their ass kicked by almost any race that could be bothered attacking their homeworld. The tau would probably be killed by the necrons and the necrons then defeated when all their tomb worlds are destroyed. The imperium would eventually fall to the unending waves of orks and tyranids who would also attack each other. After one race has killed the other the victor would be left with nobody to fight and if it was the orks they would kill themselves off in infighting and the tyranids would have no biomass to eat. The eldar would probably fall pray to the tyranids aswell before the nids starve themselves to death. Anyone I messed there ( I cant even remember my own options now lol). So in the end, nobody wins cause they are all dead  |

... Or they good just revert to cliches and let the "good guys" (meaning the imperium) win. |
