| all infantry armies still pwn tanks as the rules say that if you have 20 infantry round any full tank or 10 infantry round a tank with 33 or less total armour then an instant glancing hit is caused, in a game this size, 64 kroot will easily be able to take down tanks, plus evscerators are two handed chainfists and the shapers all have them, plus the master shaper has a meltagun. tanks = dead

| Also the Kroot hunters are all armed with sniper rifles so there's a small chance I can take down light vehicles. Also all my shaper have eviserators, which are bassically just chainfists but two handed, the whole army is based on first turn charging, they can all infiltrate, and blood of the stalker allows me to infiltrate D6" closer to the enemy, all of my kroot are at +1 initiative too, due to fast reflexes, if I fail get first turn, then the kroothawk totem lets me re-roll the first turn dice. I worked out it's not too pricey either, I need 4 boxes of carnivores, 11 sets of chaos fury wings and a hell of alot of conversion and patience, besides this it'll be a good fun army =) -DIAB |

Dice is all luck so dont hope for a alway 1st turn reroll. +1 initiative wont work if the players units are in terrian (Units in terrian count as 10 initiative when being charged). Those leaders are good but what are you going to do? look for thaks the whole game getting shot? or charge units like CC armys do best. Conclustion the Kroot list never worked it was never thought out propley.

| Uh first turn charge will be easy for me, carnivores all infiltrate 18"-D6" away, vultures infiltrate 18"-D6" and count as jump troops (but dont have to take terrain tests) also I can re-roll the dice for first turn as well. On another note...who uses auspexes!? Nobody that's who, even if they do get a free shot at me the most likely thing i'll be doing is hiding in a wood enjoying a generous 4+ cover save, also, if a i really want I can do the sit back 12" in the wood and shoot tactic, when they get close enough, BAM! that's when you strike, also the master shaper and his vultures will be off harrasing the enemy doing some serious damage. To be honest i'm not doing the kroot mercenaries to win, mainly doing it for a bit of fun and some good modelling oppurtunities. -DIAB |

| if u want to give a carniflex any upgrades you should give it the Extended Casrapce (+1sv) (giving it a 2+ armour save), Reinforced Chitin (+1 w) (giving it 5 wounds), tusked (+2 attacks when jumping into assault) 2 S/T (+2 attacks) giving a carniflex 5 wounds at a 2+ armour save (if the carniflex assaults) it has 7 attacks else it has 4 the only problem about a close combat carniflex is max initiative is 2 (with adreanal glans) 9 out of 10 enemies will attack first. |

| a CC neds army doesnt have a carniflex in it the rmy list should read HQ (Points 358) Broodlord + 11 Genstealers (S/T + Rending Claws, Extended carapce, Feeder tendrils) as the Broodlord can Infaltrate Troops (Points each squad 276) 12 Genstealers (Extended Carapace, scuttlers, rending Claws) (Scuttlers gives the Genstealers 6" move b4 1st turn) and as Genstealers have Fleet of Claw a genstealer can move max 6" Scuttler 6" Fleet and a 6" normal move. (Take that squad 2x) Elites (Lictor points 240, Warriors points 164) Lictors 4 Warriors (giving the player 2nd synapse) (Carapace Armour, Rending Claws, Deathspitter, leaping, Enhansed Sences) Fast Attack (Raveners Points 184) 4 Raveners (S/T and Rending Claws + Deathspitter) Raveners are Fast attack (12" move + assault) and they deepstrike even in games deepstrike is not aloud. with sadly 2 points left to spare in a 1500point game. |

I got some ideas for your kroot. You could make them look like Mercainerys and give them previous battle tropies (No tau of course!). The vultures you could have them pinned to be flying. It would look better than walking.

| I was thinking of putting all my vultures on rocks, so they look taller, and in "taking off" poses, as far as i'm aware nobody in the store I go to uses auspexes, just a bunch of decent players, and 1 really beardy dark eldar player >.< -DIAB |
