NECRONS; more or less units?
 

For those of u that have a ultramrines codex, look at page 74 and 75, for those of u that dont have the codex, its a sad picture in the front theres about 20 necron warriors fighting off 2 land raiders, 3 razorbacks, 18 marines, about 4 terminators (all i can see) 1 dreadnaught, 3 land raiders with storm bolter, 3 predators, 1 anhilator and 2 destructors, and too top it all off, marenus calagar and a devastator squad, and some technamarine servitors and technamarine in full servo-arms.


that may be half the picture but i can assure u there is probably twice as more space marines, and few more of the necrons.

i know this cuz i play necrons, not even a 3000 point army can fight that off, even if it is a shooting army, but half of the units have lasercannoons and plasma cannons etc, with work best on necrons. and if it was a close combat army, it wouldnt matter cuz half of those tanks are trsansporting something.

2. i am talking about the imbalances in point costs unit numbers.

i do play tabletop, and i do know necrons. but you arent making any sense. its a picture in a codex, and those usually dont pay much attention to points costs, they're more display than anything. take a look at the inside cover of the old space marines codex, it has a massive amount of space marines, more than any army out there i would bet.

necrons should have more of a variation of units maybe more than one troops and HQ choice would be nice

yeah but in TT they only have one troop.

yes points do count in table top, you cant play an army if it has like 2000 mor epoints than you, it has to be equal, my point is all point costs should be balanced, in the necrons case (lowerd) eldar have the cheapest point cost in the game, so they get a bunch of stuff for only a small cost.

Hangar18 u forget that the W40K art is to represent the whole "good" Vs "evil" thing the artists just make a sweet pic not a direct art port from the game and most of the characters in the pic are about to get mashed or blowen to bitz just look at the 3rd Ed. rule book, Incomming!
