The foundation paints are very good as Eldar King said, they are new paints set that are coming out (Yes a new another type of paint). However this paint has more stuff in it so you can.. say for example do a yellow in one coat as well as some new paints coming in and some old ones i think. They are coming out in april.

Well the British HQ only made about 3000 at first (They fucked up on numbers) so most stores wont have many. By luck are store is getting 48 of them in and they have 18 new paints in them that are one coat wounders.

I have a brillent idea for manclaws demonic basalisk.

If you moved the cannon back on the frame as i suggested earlier in the thread you could take some green stuff and make tenacles come out of the gunports and have them look like they are holding down the hell cannon and securing it in place. That would just look insane. To add extra touches you could make the ports blown out like an exit wound to show the force of the tentacles. Also you can make the turret base a choas symbol pretty easily out of green stuff and left over sprue frames.

I was thinking that if you just got a basilik body and stuck the cannon inside and got some plastic card and made it look more 'Evil' then i think it would look pritty nice... Mind you my idea seems a bit mad!.

I am still not seeing the big difference yopu guys keep mentioning between the basilks and the chimer body

here is why we like the 'lisk over the Chimera

the basilisk gives you a relitively flat surface to put the Hellcannon on and has a place for an IG crew on the back to man the gun because it's open topped so it can't be demonicly possesed.

Also the lisk gives you the metal shrapnel guard thing that you could shave down and put around your hell cannon.

then use the baslisks cannon on some other crazy convershion. Just say hooking it up on the top of a land raider and crerating some sort of supertank.
