Great stuff on the lighting effects! but i agree with Brant on the gun, give it a bit of weathering/battle damage. but love the work.

no offense but the lighting effects arent all that great but im no expert myself try not to put the colour your using in the recesses and i reckon a more soft glow would look better but thats my opinion

You have lighting where the energy isn't facing, and none where it is! (but only on the gun)

Bit sloppy with the lighting effect, also try to be a bit more subtle with the rust, other than that good stuff.

Yeah, I realized that painting was sloppy, so I imporved it. Now the light source, the magnetic coil, has a coat of gloss.


I just wanted to try light effect because I have never done it before, it is just to see how well I can do. This is my normal Necron, the gauss flayer was given some codex grey random highlights after this picture is taken. I wanted to know which oneyou guy like it better.

Nice! I like like the new lighting effects, but I don't know why but, I think the gun shot stay not-rusty.

Great stuff on the Pre heresy World eaters, they're brilliant, you should make a pre-heresy kharn, he was, and is, awesome. it made me laugh that the world eaters were as insane then as they are now lol. i considered doing the Luna Wolves, but i thought that would be my fourth chapter in a year... i had salamanders, a full 2000 point army painted, then i switched to crimmy fists, got 3 marines, a termie, and a dread finished, then i made my own DA successor chapter 'the Knights of the Lion' a week ago and did a full 1000 point army of them (really quick colour scheme)

i have so many projects right now its funny, i have a chaos tank company, an elysian army, a daemonhunters army, my Knights of the Lion marines, a nurgle chaos army, a khorne chaos army, o'shovah tau army (only cool tau), harlequins army, death korps of kreig army, Bretonnian army, khorne fantasy chaos army, and theyre all from barely started to half done. i dont have a single finished army at all.

Aye just like me i have short attechion on armys and my exsited ment to keep doing them wares off. Not sure if thats my ADHD but.. Meh!. I wouldn't advice Luna (Lunar) wolves unless you would to do tons of white and clean coversions. If you want to start easy I'd to Emperors children they are the most cheapest and they can wear the aquiler. Although mine where the world eaters i got 30 bezerkers to paint just done the sloppy watered down Fortress grey and going to move on to a watered down white then a normal white coat.
