the Imperium v.s. Tau
 

I do rember some talk about this already but i want to know what ever one thinks. I really dont like the hippocritic tau, for the greater good please thats a friggin cover phrase. At least the imperium comes out and says there going to kick your but, for the emperor is why. I also heard that the tau are getting really big in the gaming world. Spilting into empires last i heard. what it comes down to is who would destory the other.

If the imperium focused on eliminating the tau they would destroy them.
However the tau arn't all that big a threat compared to chaos, tyranids and orks

BTW, the Tau were almost destroyed by the imps during a campaign, but were saved by the Tyranid attack on the imperium

soooooo the tau do win battles against the imperium and vice versa but the difference is tau always fight generally the same while the emperors glorious armies are many and varied meaning the imperium would defeat the tau if the had a black templar crusade force and more but they would probably get slaughtered by the tau if they only had a couple regiments of guardsmen and the idea that the tau werent a threat.

if u guys have a pic of the segmentum solar u'll see the imperials are the least of the tau's problems, to the east... BEHEMOTH.
as for TT thers hype around the tau cos of the new codex (due out in the next 2 months)

Well such things are wast seeing as the tau only planet tha\ey come from is not far from some tyrnid infested planets why should the imperium care i mean the tau are'nt attack em so why bother when some one else might take the tau out,mabe the nids or orks since there superrior in cc then the tau and have greater numbers.

tau r a lame excuse for a race, they r pathetic in close combat and compared to some ranged weapons they r ok... the imperium would win, easily they have millions of millions of souls willing to die in His name plus arnt the tau separating in to smaller...empires? plus the tau will also be kept busy be the tyranids, oh yeh! marines have wiped em out 3 times in a row!

i say imperium win coz they have the tuffest race of all the 41st milenia. the space marines and theres hundreds of chapters and each 1 has 100,000,000 warriors excluding dreadnoughts, heros and vehcles with heros and vehicles probably 100,000,000,000.

1 problem with the maries is the fact there scattered around the universe eg the marines r fightin nids of macragge. raven guard r busy doing great extermintas on the tau.

Tyranids are the only ones who are gonna win in the end, they are infinite. It's just another galaxy to them, they've already devoured hundreds if not thousands before.

But Imperium > Tau.
