well the emperor deserves to have all that. hes the most powerful psyker there is. if he wants something he'll get it. even if he is in a wheel chair.:AzH2:

did that stop xavier(xmen... probably bad example lol) from getting what he wanted?

most people dont even know that the emperor isnt kept alive by the golden throne exactly, but the thousands of psykers sacrificed every day to keep it running lol.

its in the 3rd(?) edition rule book (the last one)

pretty much every society is a dictatorship in the W40k universe. btw, nice fluff on the emperor, i didnt know alot of that before. but here is a question, if the emperor is so big and bad ... why doesnt he create a living reincarnation of himself, or a clone rather, to act outside of terra? and if he got so beat up from the fight with horus that he had to go into the golden throne ..... how did he get in or have time to make the throne?

The first inquisitors and high lords trapped his soul in his current vessel to keep him alive, that is why.
