Re: Dictatorship The Emperor is a dictator, but some guy also made a point: every other race is a dictatorship. That's what 40K is about in some way. Tau: Join us or die. Chaos: See above. Necrons: They just kill everyhting, no qusetions asked. The best. Eldar: Dunno, don't like Eldar much, know nothing about them. Dark Eldar: I imagine it would be join us or die. Imperium: Everything that ain't human dies, and anyone who says so much as 'the Emporer's a sleazebag' is deemed a heretic. Tyranids: The bugs are too stupid to rebel. Cany others? |
Re: Dictatorship the emperor protects mankind from itself and its most powerful wepon it can use on itself...knowlage |
Re: Dictatorship the eldar arnt really a dictator ship, i suppose you could say they have a strict ruling, but its for the best to keep there race from extinction, and dark eldar is more, *get prodded with a sharp pokey stick numerous times or die* |
Re: Dictatorship i thihnk people just rebel against the emperor and the Imperium because its goody goody and these days its all about rebels and being different so The Imperium rox Choas sux The End. |
Re: Dictatorship The Imperium is "goody goody"?!?What kind of crack are you on?!People turn to chaos because they become afraid of the Inquisition thinking they will be killed off for the slightest thing, and because the chaos gods mess with their minds. And did you know that often times the Heretic Archivists for the Inquisition, who are supposed to document the things they learn about chaos, are killed for doing exactly what their job is?I'm not joking,it shows in the fluff several times little snippets from Heretic Archivists' journals and compilations of what they learned about chaos. Then after that it states the Archivist, and more often than not,it has an execution date.Even funnier is how the Inquisition generally kills people who have information so valuable they could save the Imperium. One example is a man who apparently god adbucted by the Dark Eldar, and somehow escaped back to the Imperium. He documented what Commoragh was like, and the corrupt fuckers in the Inquisition killed him for documenting it,claiming he was a heretic. It's funny, someone who endured unbelievable torture for, more than likely, years,is killed for giving valuable information out. |
